During the recent school holidays, the Hamilton City Council released a brand new app called "Nature In The City" to supercharge the existing "Nature In The City" program. The goal of "Nature In The City" is to restore Hamilton’s native vegetation cover from less than 2% to 10% by 2050. That’s hundreds of thousands of plants across more than 1,000 hectares to be restored. "Nature is our most powerful taonga – it makes a stronger, healthier city. We know being around nature can be magic for people’s well-being. It's the last day of AIMS Games for 2023! The sun came out for us as we made our way to Baypark Stadium to catch up with some people from the Indoor Bowls.
