I just returned from fishing the 2nd stop on the 2023 LBAA Women's Pro Bass Tour schedule, the beautiful Lake Chatuge in the North Georgia Mountains. Breathtaking views, crystal clear water, and some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. This was my 1st time fishing a lake with Blueback Herring, a baitfish similar to shad but some differences, including color and behavior. As I look back at the week, I learned more about bass fishing than I have in any other tournament I've fished. Hear all about it in this week's episode! My journey in Southwest Florida has ended for this season, but only after going out with a bang! Everglades Erica, has pretty much done it all when it comes to Southwest Florida wildlife, including catching gators and pythons and, more recently, working with birds of prey to keep nuisance birds under control where needed at venues such as landfills, sports arenas, and airports to name a few. After this interview, she was kind enough to come back to the RV Park where we had been staying and bring one of the birds (Larry Bird) to give an educational session to several of the RV'ers and kids, and it was a huge hit!
