I’ve been raiding the record shelves, dusting off late 80’s/early 90’s nuggets for this trip back to those heady days. A lot of these tracks I haven’t played for over 30 years! They remind me of an exciting time for the music and a great time to be in Brighton with the Jazz Bop live events and Brighton Jazz Rooms nights in full effect. It was a lot of fun putting it together and I think the spirit of that era shines through. Goldenera Hip Hop, Funk, Psychedelic Soul, Latin Boogaloo, Bossa Beats all in the mix.
