My Own Words is a collection of Ruth Bader Ginsburg's public writing and speeches. It includes biographical information and a discussion of her intellectual interests and positions. Ginsburg gave birth to a daughter in 1955 and entered Harvard Law School in 1956. She was one of only nine women in a class of approximately 500.
