Pray for many Punjabi believers to receive a Macedonian call to reach the lost nations of Pakistan.

How can one understand God’s word if it is not in a language they can understand? Bible translation is one of the main things Satan opposes. Among the people groups in this prayer guide, translation has begun in only five or six of the larger language groups. Pray that with modern technology Bibles will soon be accurately translated in each of the languages of Pakistan’s minority peoples.

Thank the Lord for what He is doing among young Hindu background believers!

Pray that the few Balmiki believers will shine the light of the Holy Spirit in such a way that others will be eager to be discipled. Pray for a disciple-making movement to thrive in the Balmiki community.

There are about 50,000 Sindhi Bhils, but only about 50 believers among them. We need prayer and more workers who will share God’s love with these dear people. Pray for a disciple-making movement to flourish among this people group.

The Dhati Bhil tribe in Pakistan numbers about 75,000, and about 50 of their families follow Christ. This people group is open to the gospel, and there is a good chance that other families will do the same, if someone goes to them. Pray for workers!

Iran is not hospitable to Christian workers; access is limited. Gospel radio and television, evangelistic websites, Gospel recordings and literature can all be useful. Pray for the good news about Jesus to reach the ears of the Qashqai community in an understandable way, in their mother tongue.

There are about 30,000 Mayvasi Kohlis, but only about 20 believers among them. Pray for many from the Mayvasy Kohli people to put all their faith in Jesus Christ.

A veteran missionary writes, "weddings, funerals, the birth of a baby; all are observed by various cultural traditions, including the unreached Hindu people groups. We replaced those elements that exalted Satan with something honoring to God, something people were happy with and would recognize." Pray that the Holy Spirit will use local cultural traditions that help Hindus understand the redemptive work of Christ.

Unless Christian believers marry other believers, it is very difficult for them and the next generation to follow the Lord. Pray for the Marwari Bhatipas to be able to find Christian mates. Pray believers in other ethnic groups will be able to find spouses who follow the Lord.

Sadly, the Ugnia Marwari Bhils are not only outcasts in a world of Islam, but also outcasts within their own Marwari Bhils. Pray for the Holy Spirit to penetrate the Ugnia Marwari Bhil community with His light. Pray for many disciples among them.

Rana and Sita were trophies of God’s grace! Rana Timotheus was one of the first Khadali Marwari Bhils to come to faith. Thank the Lord for those Marwari Bhils willing to serve Him! Pray for a disciple-making movement among every Bhil sub tribe.

There are about 500 believers among the Parkari Kohlis; pray that the Lord will raise up many of them to joyfully go to their neighbors and disciple them in His ways.

A missionary writes, “Khatu was a strikingly beautiful Sindhi Meghwal woman, but she was oppressed by demonic spirits and beliefs that Satan had brought into her life. The only gods she knew were angry and hateful. One day she put her faith in Jesus. She was the first woman believer among her rejected and lost people, the Sindhi Meghwals." Pray that the Holy Spirit will touch the hearts of many men and women among this people group so that they will follow Jesus.

A missionary writes, "People from the Vagari tribe near Karachi told me that it was right to worship the sun for it had great power over us and gave life to everything on earth. ‘Who made the sun? The sun was created.’ They did not have an answer for that. There are 20,000 Vagaris, and the only believers are from one family.” Pray that this family will lovingly teach others the way of the One who created the sun they worship, the same God who sent Jesus to die to pay for their sins.

Sikandra overheard a missionary talking about a strange new God; He accepted Christ and boldly won his extended family to the savior. His own people, the Marwari Khadali, rejected him. Pray for a disciple-making movement to spread like wildfire throughout Marwari Khadali communities today.

Pirs control every aspect of a Hindu’s life, whether social or spiritual. People live in great fear of them and their power. Pray this bondage of the pirs will be broken so people will be free to hear and accept Christ.

Because of caste barriers, they will not accept anyone from the outside. When I first went to one group, they ran in fear believing I was a “white god” and, of course, gods only come to destroy people. Pray for low caste Hindus to be introduced to the God who loves them as a father loves his children.

The caste system is Satan’s biggest stronghold controlling the Hindu people, keeping them from coming to Christ. Caste determines your social contacts, your spouse, your occupation, people with whom you can eat, and it sometimes even restricts to whom you can talk. Pray for the Lord to help low caste Hindus to find their worth in Christ, the lover of all nations.
