Each episode we bring you the best music of all genres from throughout the world, and this week we’ll be speaking with an old friend of the show - singer, songwriter Roger Silverberg. Roger has long been a fixture on the Long Island music scene for years - writing carefully crafted, thought-provoking songs that he has performed and recorded both on his own, and with some of the best musicians on Long Island. He’s also recently added another dimension to his musical palette as a member of the group Lipstick, a female fronted 80s influenced pop and rock band, who will be performing at Finley’s of Greene Street in Huntington, NY on October 5th. The main event remains Rogers own music, which he’ll be performing with a group of excellent musicians on December 13th at Bartini Bar in Babylon, NY. He’s also continued recording his music, and we have a sneak preview of some of his most recent work.

His most recent release, with Executive Producer Hazardis Sounds, is titled The Guilt of Gold Teeth, and it's available on iTunes, Spotify, and every other major streaming service.

Each episode we bring you the best music of all genres from throughout the world, and this week we’ll be speaking with Jim Faith - the Founder and Producer of the Great South Bay Music Festival that takes place this year at Shorefront Park In Patchogue NY from July 18th through July 21st and features an amazingly diverse line up of artists including Joe Bonamassa, Jim Messina, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Pepper, Streetlight Manifesto, Dark Star Orchestra, The Disco Biscuits, Jon Anderson Of Yes, Justin Hayward Of The Moody Blues, and Martin Barre Of Jethro Tull among many many others. Jim Faith has been a fixture of the New York music scene since his days as a musician, but in more recent years he's not only revitalized the arts and culture profile of Long Island through his work with the festival, but also has a cofounder of The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Musical Arts from Five Towns College in 2021, and his work on behalf of several charities has improved the quality of life on Long Island significantly.

Comprised of musician and composer Mike Desroches on keyboards, and singer-songwriter Mystina Sol on vocals, Karma’s Tea skillfully merge contemporary jazz with the sultry essence of R&B, creating an enchanting musical experience that draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists including Erika Badu, Chick Correa, Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo, Alicia Keys, Miles Davis, Fiona Apple, Sting, and Snarky Puppy. Marc ranks as one of the world’s preeminent guitarists, and his song craft commands the utmost respect. Having begun his career during the 1980s with his group Burning Tree - he then went on to join the Black Crowes in late 1991. He toured and recorded on three of the Crowe’s finest albums - The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, Amorica and Three Snakes and One Charm. After some time off from the band, he rejoined in 2005-2006 when they toured and released The Lost Crowes - two albums the band never released when he was a member. In 2002 Ford released his first solo album, It’s About Time.
