3/12/2024
The New York Football Giants finally closed the book on the Saquon Barkley era of franchise on Monday letting the running back opt for free agency and sign with the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition, safety Xavier McKinney opted to sign with the Green Bay Packers. 1/11/2024
The New York Football Giants and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale finally agreed to part ways on Wednesday afternoon after several days of drama. In addition the team made several changes to the coaching staff including long time punching bag, offensive line coach Bobby Johnson. With the offseason looming and the top of the NFL draft order solidified, what can the Giants do to make the best out of a difficult situation with no obvious solution at the quarterback position and 3 teams ahead of them in the draft with a clear need at QB. The New York Giants inexplicably as ten point underdogs went on the road and defeated the Washington Commanders in Tommy DeVito's first career win as a starting quarterback. The Giants are onto 2024

11/15/2023
The New York Football Giants will not win another football game as long as Tommy DeVito, the pride of Don Bosco Prep, plays quarterback for the franchise. Simply put, it's not DeVito's fault the Giants are losing, nor is Brian Daboll at fault for this mess of a season. With injuries piling up, the stakes low and the team unable to function on offense, why is everyone still so angry? Isn't a high draft pick in the spring a good thing?

Fly high Daniel Jones

11/7/2023
The New York Giants of Daniel Jones are dead gone and buried. The former 6th overall pick suffered a torn ACL in Sunday afternoon's game against the Las Vegas Raiders which felt like a death knell for the organization's long-term plans at the position. Now, the focus must shift to the NFL draft and the Giants potentially taking a quarterback in the top five whether it be Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.

New York Giants, Joe Scheisty Schoen nail NFL trade deadline

10/31/2023
The New York Giants made one trade prior to Tuesday's deadline but it was a significant one. The Giants sent defensive lineman Leonard Williams to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for second and fifth round picks. However, the Giants did hold onto both Saquon Barkley and Adoree' Jackson even though both are expiring players. In addition, the Commanders sent Chase Young and Montez Sweat to the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears respectively.

Giants can't complete a forward pass, lose 13-10 to Jets in OT

10/30/2023
The New York Giants finished Sunday's game against the New York Jets with negative nine passing yards in the year of our lord 2023 AD. Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor was injured early in the game forcing undrafted free agent Tommy DeVito into the fire against the elite Jets defense who had the Syracuse product on pure hand the ball off duty. The Giants were undone on special teams where Graham Gano missed a pair of field goals and an extra point in less than ideal conditions at Metlife stadium. At this point, the Giants are firmly looking towards next season, but how ugly will things get? Who, if anyone, get's moved at the trade deadline?

Tyrod Taylor and New York Giants defeat Washington Commanders 14-7 (Featuring @twentee7)

10/24/2023
The New York Giants scored an offensive touchdown for the first time in more than a month and had maybe the most functional offense of the entire season this week against the Washington Commanders. With backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor starting in place of the injured Daniel Jones, the Giants were able to push the ball a bit more down the field as the veteran's pocket presence allowed New York to operate at a higher level. Will, @Twentee7 joins the show to offer a differing perspective on Bobby Johnson and drops a scoop from the Giants beat.

Giants lose 13-9, don't look atrocious in Buffalo

10/16/2023
The New York Giants lost a professional football game once again but for the first time since Arizona, the team didn't embarrass itself. With starting quarterback Daniel Jones suffering from a neck injury, backup Tyrod Taylor made the spot start and showed that the Giants are capable of running a functional offense. Does Tyrod make the Giants more competitive than Jones? Is the tank marching on full speed ahead? Are the New England Patriots even worse?

The Giants need to embrace the tank

10/9/2023
The New York Giants didn't even need to get off the bus Sunday afternoon against the Miami Dolphins. There wasn't a single moment of competitive football from a Giants team that's looked like the least competitive team in the entire NFL through five weeks. The Dolphins obliterated the Giants with several explosive plays of more than 50 yards and hit Daniel Jones so many times the quarterback left the game with a neck injury.

DEFCON 1 GIANTS LOSE 24-3 TO SEATTLE AT HOME

10/3/2023
The New York Football Giants didn't just lose 24-3 to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. The team was dismantled systematically over four quarters as a group that over achieved last season was reminded just how hard it is to win in the NFL consistently. Sitting at 1-3 with looming battles against the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, it feels like the Giants season is almost certainly over now. But with 13 games to go, what does that mean for the rest of the season?

Giants fall to 1 and 2 and look short on answers

9/22/2023
The New York Giants expected to build off of their surprisingly successful 2022 season in year two of the Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen regime. However, after another difficult loss to one of the NFL's best teams in the San Francisco 49ers, the Giants look awfully closer to the teams of two and three years ago than last year's. How far are the Giants away from closing that gap? How much better can Daniel Jones really play? Is the Giants' defense a real cause for concern or is it early season gelling issues. Is Kayvon Thibodeaux headed in the right direction? When will the Giants find a way to manufacture offense against a consistent pass rush? Oh and listener questions from Twitter.

Giants pull off 20 point comeback, win 31-28 vs Cardinals

9/19/2023
Holy shit Daniel Dimed. The New York Giants pulled off a 20 point comeback against the lowly Arizona Cardinals after the team's scoreless quarter streak reached six at the half. After only putting up 63 total yards in the first half, Quarterback Daniel Jones put up more than 300 total yards in the second half. The Giants might have won the game, but they lost running back Saquon Barkley to an ankle sprain for several weeks and face the perennial Super Bowl Contender San Francisco 49ers with just three days to prepare. Week 2 Must Win Game against the Arizona Cardinals Preview

9/14/2023
The New York Giants laid a literal egg against the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday and have a great opportunity at a get right game against the Arizona Cardinals this week. The Giants are dealing with hamstring injuries to both Darren Waller and Andrew Thomas. There is early speculation that Thomas may sit Sunday's game against the Cardinals to prepare for the short week game against the San Francisco 49ers the following Thursday. The matchup against a Cardinals team looks like a laugher on paper. The Cardinals feature Josh Dobbs, a career backup QB as their starter is a chance for the Giants defense to step up and win the game in spite of the team's questions on offense.

Worst Giants loss ever?

9/11/2023
The New York Football Giants may have arrived at Metlife Stadium to play the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, but that was the extent of their physical exertion for the evening. The Giants got their butts kicked for four straight quarters, losing the game 40-0 with not a single positive take away. The Giants suffered several injuries and the roster's flaws were glaring against a talented Cowboy defense that battered Daniel Jones in a driving rain storm.

Giants finalize 53 man roster and make two trades

8/31/2023
The New York Giants cut down to the team's final 53 man roster and managed to pickup the majority of their cuts as practice squad additions. Oh and the Giants traded for linebacker Isaiah Simmons and pass rusher Boogie Basham in the last week too to solidify the team's defense going into the start of the season. Plus, Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb and the rest of the New York Jets might be bullies for taking a preseason game so seriously. Lastly, fantasy talk, because all everyone wants in late August is to hear other people talk about their fantasy football team.

An NFL Running Back Value Discussion with Will (@twentee7)

7/26/2023
The running back market in the NFL took a massive blow this past week as New York Giant Saquon Barkley agreed to a modest incentive to break his training camp holdout, Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders failed to reach an agreement and left camp all against the back drop of a running back zoom call from this past weekend where players at the position met to try and discuss the future of their position and get paid better.
