March 10th marks the 65th Anniversary of the loss of Celilo Falls, on the Columbia River. The longest inhabited community on the North American continent. Carbon dated to over 10,000 years, it was a trading center for many tribes. To the Natives of the area, it is a cultural icon. It's flooding was a great loss to their people.
