Frank Dengate’s “Blues Circus” offers a wide variety of Music in a number of styles under the “ Blues and Roots” banner. Music includes: A good dose of Old Blues, Hollers from the Cottonfields, A strong presence from Chicago Blues Greats in the 40s and 50s, Jump Blues, Rock Blues, Folk Music, Americana, selected works from Country and Rockabilly Artists and a very strong emphasis on Australian Blues and Roots Music from over the years to quite recent. The program has a strong focus on Independent Australian Music through Amrap and includes National Festival Information, Weekly Gig Guide for Sydney and surrounds, and a contribution to the National “bluesbeatradio” charts.
