This weekend Tunein features a radio drama originally broadcast by the Armed Forces Radio Service on Memorial Day in 1948. The program stars film star Lew Ayers appearing midway through a distinguished, 60 year acting career that included roles in many classic motion pictures such as “All Quiet on The Western Front,” “Young Doctor Kildare,” “Advise and Consent” and “Battlestar Galactia” to name a few. The 30 minute program is based on a blank verse poem written by Joseph A. Bourdow who is celebrating his 100th birthday this year.
