Hi I’m Steve Shannen and I have worked on the radio since back in the day sometime. Let’s just say a lot of greatest hits of all time you hear on 92.9 WBPM I played on the radio when they first became great. My first station was here in the Hudson Valley WKNY in Kingston where I actually hosted mornings. Sometime in the 80’s I shifted to FM radio and worked with Bob Miller at 98 FAME in Poughkeepsie. In the 90’s I was on the air in Hartford CT and then in New York City at WPAT-FM. The new millennium brought me back to the Hudson Valley and finally to being a weekend warrior here at 92.9 WBPM. I’m married to my wife Serina who is a native of Saugerties and have a son and a daughter Stephen and Shannen Respectively. When not on the radio I sell Auto and Home Insurance for Allstate and during my free I can be seen in front of the TV rooting for the Yankees, New York Football Giants, New York Rangers and sadly the New York Knicks.
