Reo Casey grew up in the Metroplex and has always been a Blues fan. He also works as a Blues musician around down, having played over 700 gigs locally and elsewhere. On his show, he aims to showcase his favorite Blues artists and recordings, playing a mix of your favorites and some you might never have heard before. His focus is on playing the music but he sometimes adds commentary on why he sees a certain song as significant, on who is backing up the singer, or on the lineage of styles or ideas in the music. Most of all, he wants to celebrate the Blues tradition and have some fun presenting it via the airwaves.
