Originally introduced in 2022, the 'Kids Online Security Act' (KOSA) was cosponsored by Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) aims to create a “duty of care” which requires companies to take steps to prevent harm while using their products.
