As a native of Central Illinois, CJ always wanted to be a part of radio in Peoria. Her interest began at very early age while listening to “Gary & Donna on KZ93”. CJ studied Radio & Television Broadcasting at Illinois Central College and truly enjoyed the experience. She was fortunate to start work while still in school at WMBD-TV as a Floor Director for the show “The Morning Mix”. From there CJ moved to WMBD-AM, where she grew her love for radio and spent over a decade producing shows on the talk radio format. But then, it was time to shine. After a fun run on a Classic Country station, it was onto Mix 106.9. You can hear her on the air Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturdays from 6:00am to 12:00pm. CJ is a newlywed and loves spending time her husband. They enjoy fixing up their home, boating and fishing on Spring Lake, watching The Voice, and pretty much anything on TLC or HGTV. And of course, cuddling with puppy Cody.
